Bristol Hat

New Pattern! The Bristol Hat

A somewhat slouchy togue with a completely reversible stitch pattern. The sample does not reflect this but the hat could be blocked as a beret if you prefer.

Materials
Quince and Co Finch 100 %wool; 221yards/202m/50g skein color: Honey; 1 skein

16” US 3/3.25mm circular needle,

4 US 3/3.25 mm dpn

Stitch marker(s), tapestry needle

Gauge
24 sts x 30 rows= 4” in pattern with larger needle
26 sts x 32 rows= 4” in stockinette stitch with larger needle

Notes
This stitch pattern does not lend its self to sizing so if you prefer a larger or looser hat sub a sport weight yarn- for example Quince and Co. Chickadee comes in the same palette as Finch. For other suggestions please DM me on Ravelry or email me, I am always happy to talk yarn subs (and vicariously yarn shop) with you!

The pattern is available as a PDF download on Ravelry

And while you’re there, please say Happy Birthday to the Muse, the super talented Ms Bristol Ivy who is having a pattern sale you will want to check out.
