My favorite thing to wear EVER is my lacy sweater I knitted with MadelineTosh pashmina (my pics are on ravelry). It fits so perfect, the raspberry color is ridiculous and it was a labor of love knitting on toothpicks. It makes me feel accomplished to knit something lacy and it looks amazing on me. I'm rather chesty and it is often hard for me to knit cardigans that fit up-top without being too big on the bottom--I need some fit help for sure.

The perfect pair of jeans makes every sweater look like my best work. Alas, I'm still looking for that perfect pair. Mine wore out loooong ago. Is it possible to fine jeans without spandex anymore? I just want a fab pair of real, heavy cotton jeans that fit. In the mean time I'll just keep knitting sweaters so I'll be ready when I run across those jeans! P.S. Would love this book...

I have a light blue sweater that I keep trying to retire - but when I wear it, I feel so comfortable - and if I take the pills off, and wear it to work, I always get compliments. It's one of Bonne Marie Burns first designs in Knitty - Sitcom Chic. Maybe I just ought to knit another - it's simple, and apparently it suits me.
